Receiving from God is not the final step. We are called to stay in agreement with what He has already given. Healing, provision, and breakthrough are not meant to come and go. They are meant to remain.
Most loss does not start outwardly. It starts inwardly. Breakthrough comes, faith is strong, and there is joy. Then a thought enters. “What if this doesn’t last?” That moment matters. When agreement shifts inwardly, the result will eventually follow.
Scripture shows us this clearly through Abraham. He did not consider his body or the circumstances around him. He stayed in agreement with what God said. Because of that, his faith remained strong. Agreement is what keeps faith steady.
Covenant requires awareness. In the Old Testament, Abraham had a physical reminder of his covenant. Today, we have communion. It keeps us focused, aligned, and aware of what belongs to us. Covenant is not something we receive once and forget. It is something we stay conscious of.
There are a few common ways people come out of agreement. Sometimes it is a lack of knowledge. The Word was never fully established. Other times it is yielding to symptoms or circumstances. Feelings begin to dictate belief. And often, it shows up in words. Speaking doubt, fear, or unbelief shifts agreement.
Scripture is clear that life and death are in the power of the tongue. What we say matters. Words are not just describing what is happening. They are helping determine the outcome. When we speak in line with God’s Word, we stay in agreement with life and victory.
The solution is simple. Stay in agreement with God’s Word. Guard what you say. Do not yield to symptoms. Keep covenant active through the Word and through communion. Stay aligned.
The encouragement this week is simple. Do not come out of agreement. Stay with what God has said. When you do, you keep the healing, the provision, and the victory He has already given.
