In today’s broadcast, we continued teaching from our Next Level Faith series and focused on why so many believers struggle to receive and walk in the benefits of their covenant with God. Over the years, we have found that one of the primary reasons is clearly explained in Hebrews 4. The Word of God, even when preached and heard, does not profit unless it is mixed with faith. Covenant truth must be believed, embraced, and acted upon, or it will not produce the results God intended.

Another major reason Scripture gives is found in Hosea 4:6, where God says His people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. This does not refer to the world, but to believers. Many Christians simply do not understand what belongs to them through covenant, how faith operates within that covenant, or the depth of Hesed, God’s covenant love. When there is no knowledge, the enemy is free to deceive, intimidate, and steal. What God has provided is real, but it must be known in order to be used.

There is also incomparable importance on love in the life of faith. Faith works by love, and without love, faith becomes weak and ineffective. A believer may know the Word and even believe it to some degree, but without walking in love, faith will not produce as it should. Covenant faith is not harsh or self-driven. It is confident, secure, and rooted in God’s love and faithfulness.

Finally, we reminded everyone that standing in faith is not passive. Scripture tells us to stand fast in the liberty Christ has given us, and that standing is active and intentional. We stand by faith, by the Word, and by speaking in agreement with our covenant. Words matter. What we consistently speak feeds our spirit, and in moments of pressure, what is inside us will come out. When we fill our hearts with the Word and speak it in faith, covenant truth will rise up and carry us through whatever we face. This is how we live strong, stable, and victorious lives in Christ.
