Receiving from God is not the final step. We are called to keep what we receive. Healing, provision, and breakthrough are part of the salvation package, but they are meant to be lived in, not just experienced once.

Scripture shows us that the enemy’s assignment is clear. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy. What he targets is what has already shown up in our lives. When healing manifests, when provision comes, or when breakthrough happens, he immediately works to take it back.

The root issue is not effort. It is knowledge. Scripture says that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. This is not talking about the world. It is talking about believers. If we do not understand how this works, we can receive something from God and still lose it.

Jesus explains this clearly in the parable of the sower. The Word produces the result. Healing, victory, and breakthrough all come from the Word. But the enemy comes immediately to steal that Word. If he can take the Word, he can take the result.

This is where loss begins. Sometimes the Word is received with excitement but never becomes rooted. Pressure comes, offense follows, and the result is lost. Sometimes wrong thinking about God opens the door. Thoughts like “maybe it wasn’t His will” or “maybe it wasn’t real” remove confidence.

Other times, it shows up through words. Symptoms return, and instead of staying with what God said, we begin to agree with what we feel. Words shift, and agreement opens the door. Fear works the same way as faith. What we believe and speak consistently is what we allow into our lives.

Even something as simple as calling a breakthrough “coincidence” can shut down faith. When we stop recognizing God as the source, we stop expecting Him to continue.

The truth is already settled. Healing is part of salvation. It is not random. It is a covenant right. The question is not whether God will give it. The question is whether we will hold onto it.

The process is simple. Know the Word. Believe it. Speak it. Refuse to move. When pressure comes, do not react outwardly first. Check inward. Stay with what God has said.

The same principle applies in every area. Healing. Finances. Peace. Whatever is received must be maintained the same way it was received.

The encouragement this week is simple. Stay in the Word daily. Guard your words. Expect resistance and stand anyway. Stay led by the Spirit and keep feeding on truth.

You do not lose the blessing first. You lose the Word first. But if you keep the Word, you keep the healing, the provision, and the victory God has already given.
