The purpose of this broadcast is simple: take the Word of God and show how to apply it in everyday life. Many believers hear Scripture but are never taught how to live it out practically. The Christian life is more than reading more and praying more. It is learning how to apply Kingdom principles in real situations.
God’s will is abundant life—not hardship, not destruction. Scripture draws a clear dividing line. The enemy steals, kills, and destroys. Jesus brings life. When destruction shows up, it does not originate with God. Correct knowledge of His character matters.
When we look at the story of Job, we see the same adversary described in the New Testament—one who walks about seeking whom he may devour. Satan was not randomly attacking. He was seeking access. The question was not whether God was willing to protect Job, but how access was gained.
Job lived in continual concern for his children. He offered sacrifices regularly, not from confident faith, but from ongoing fear. Later, Job himself said, “The thing which I greatly feared has come upon me.” Fear is not passive. It is a spiritual force that operates in the same pattern as faith—believing in the heart, speaking with the mouth, and acting accordingly. Fear-based belief and words create openings the enemy can exploit.
Even Satan acknowledged there was a hedge around Job. Protection was present. But fear created a breach. Once access was gained, the pattern followed exactly what Jesus described: stealing, killing, and destroying.
This does not mean we stop praying for our families. We are called to intercede. Parents should pray for their children. But we pray in faith, not fear. We thank God for covenant protection. We declare His promises. Covenant agreement gives us authority to stand for our families regardless of circumstances.
The story of Job does not end in destruction. It ends in restoration. When Job prayed for his friends—an act of love—his captivity turned. Love-motivated intercession closed the gap. God restored what was lost, and Job received double.
Covenant protection begins with salvation. In Christ, we enter God’s family and receive covenant rights. We are not left vulnerable. We can resist the enemy by faith. We can walk in love. We can refuse fear. And when fear is removed, faith operates effectively.
The encouragement this week is clear: stand in faith, not fear. Guard your heart. Speak God’s promises. Walk in love. The enemy is not authorized to devour you. God is for you, actively caring for you, and restoration is always part of His covenant plan.
